Workshop Manual

In the interests of safety and efficiency, workshops need to have in place a number of rules, regulations and procedures.

All members of East Preston Men in Sheds will be requested to read our Workshop Operations Manual, and to sign that they have read, and understood it contents, and will abide by both its word and spirit.

Our 'Workshop Manual' contains a detailed 'Induction Policy', which is designed to assess the individual competencies, and safety, of each member in the use of hand-tools and powered equipment.

In addition, the 'Workshop Manual' will contain our policies on:

  • Code of Conduct

  • Health & Safety

  • Manual Handling

  • Alcohol & Drugs

  • Safeguarding

  • Environmental Policy

  • Equality, Diversity & Inclusivity

  • Data Protection

Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment, until it becomes a memory.
